From AI to Reality: Crafting Li Zhenyan’s Costume

I’m so excited I can barely sit still.

My apprentice, Tanneke, is coming over tomorrow to help me with my garb for my new persona, Li Zhenyan. We’re taking actual photos of me wearing it. Real fabric. Real me. No imagination required.

Which also means—hallelujah—I won’t need to rely on AI-generated images of myself for everything anymore. I like AI just fine, but there’s something deeply satisfying about seeing a persona step fully into the physical world.
