Queens Prize is a fun competition. The best way to get used to competing in SCA arts and sciences. Blunders may happen, but with care and consideration most can be overcome.
The rumors were out there and finally confirmed. Truly, the Barony of the Lonely Tower won't be having its 12th Night event next January. It took a lot for Lonely Tower to cancel its traditional annual event. But it can't be helped. It's very sad.
On August 24th the Barony of Mag Mor, Lonely Tower's nearest and dearest cousins, held their annual Cattle Raids event. It included so many activities. Camping, archery, arts & sciences competition, artisan show-and-tell and martial arts. I always see it as a photo op safari. I usually spend the day scoping out views to snap both on the field and indoors. This time was not different.
