2024 Reflections: A Year of Growth for An Itinerant Scribe
Hello, dear readers!
As the year draws to a close, I find myself reflecting on the journey of An Itinerant Scribe. It’s been an incredible year of growth, creativity, and—most importantly—connection with all of you.
I can’t resist sharing a little milestone with you today: in 2023, this humble blog had 265 visitors. Not too shabby for a niche corner of the internet, right? But here’s where it gets exciting—this year, An Itinerant Scribe grew to 520 visitors!
nd that’s not all! September and December have been record-breaking months, each boasting over 730 visitors. Honestly, I’m still doing a mental happy dance over this.
So, what’s behind this growth? Is it Jehanne Bening’s compelling tales? My musings on medieval manuscripts? Or is it our shared love of history, storytelling, and the SCA? Whatever the reason, I know one thing for sure—IT’S YOU!
Whether you’ve been here since the beginning, or you just found An Itinerant Scribe this year. You are the driver and the reason behind this growth. Your curiosity, your comments, your shares, and your support are invaluable. You’ve turned this blog into something more than just a collection of posts.
As we head into the new year, I’m brimming with ideas for An Itinerant Scribe. From mysteries in Jehanne’s workshop to manuscript artistry to awesome SCA happenings, there’s so much to explore together. And I expect 2025 will bring even more milestones to celebrate.
So, here’s a toast to you, dear readers—thank you for making this journey so rewarding. I can’t wait to see where we’ll wander together next!
Warm wishes,
Your Scribe
