From Fingerloop to Fibula: My Ever-Growing Crafting Queue
Hey all! To keep myself on track and share a bit of my crafting journey, I thought I’d lay out my work-in-progress crafting queue for you. (Cue the drumroll, please!) Here’s my crafting to-do list, which seems to grow with each Lonely Tower event I attend.
Sunday was brimming with Baronial activities. The day kicked off in Halleck Park, where we gathered to chat and watch our fighters practice. I loved catching up with my friends, and we even got a fingerloop braiding lesson from HL Kezia. Naturally, I’ve now added fingerloop braiding to the bottom of my to-do list—just for fun, not because I have to.
After the park, I took my apprentice, HL Astrid, out for lunch at Le Mesa Mexican restaurant. It was a lovely way for us to celebrate her birthday.
In the afternoon, we both headed to HL Aleit’s place for our scribal gathering, the Scriptorium. We had a great turnout with 10 members from Lonely Tower. For something to do I snatched a preprint scroll from Aleit, but I didn’t manage to finish it there. So, it’s now another must-do project on my list.
My crafting queue is now the preprint scroll, with the ten fibulae for Baroness Kathleen close behind. And last but not least, more baskets are waiting to be made!
