I’m fortunate my grandkids wanted this Grandma to stay overnight again this year. Waking up and watching them open their presents is my gift from them. There is no greater joy than seeing their dreams come true on Christmas. They won’t always be so eager for my sleepover with them, but for now I will enjoy it and be grateful. I […]

I hope you can share your holiday with people you love. And may you all be blessed with joy. Related Prior Post: More Merry Christmas December, 2015

I hope I don’t bore you with nerdy details, jokes, and addictions I enjoy and pass along. How you continue to tolerate my geekish banter amazes me. Thank you, again.

Thankfully road crews had done an excellent job removing the surprise 7 inches snow from the streets. While many food items simmered and slow cooked, giving the atmosphere a cozy feel, we played a new-to-me game, Cards Against Humanity. A party […]

With Throwback Thursday Christmas Eve, I went hunting for a photo of myself to post. It took some time because I have heaps of old photos. But, I found this… 1954 Christmas Photo This was taken in 1954. Yes, I remember it well. I’m wearing my new Christmas red robe with the bunny on the pocket. A traditional present for kids in […]
